Roughness is an indication of the texture of a surface of metal. Roughness is mostly not desirable in constructions and sheet metal work, because it increases the risk of corrosion. Roughness is measured or indicated by an Ra value. Alinco, specialist in stainless steel and sheet metal working, can offer you roughnesses for sheets and constructions below Ra 0.8µm, 0.5µm or even less.
We can measure it and even give you a printed roughness report if necessary. Roughness is not always important, so we make 'normal' constructions as well; but if roughness is important, we have a lot of experience and know how to become the roughnesses that are specified.
