Unidirectional brushing

Brushing stainless steel gives the material a matte satin texture. Other names for unidirectional stainless steel finishes include satin polishing (K320) or mill finishes. Brushing gives the steel sheet a uniform appearance. The roughness value of the material decreases, so dirt does not stick as easily and cleaning becomes easier. Since fingerprints and scratches are less visible on a brushed surface, this finish is often chosen for stainless steel utensils . However, if avoiding fingerprints is a priority, you should opt for a directionless brushed finish.

Provided it is done with the necessary professional knowledge, the material can be welded quite easily and the welds can be removed quite well.
