Steel finish

In the case of steel sheets, there are actually only 2 finish variants:

Cold-rolled steel sheet

This gives a more even, lighter grey colour, available and is usually in stock up to a plate thickness of 3 mm in st37 = s235. Unless otherwise specified, you will get a cold-rolled steel plate up to a thickness of 3 mm.

Hot-rolled steel sheet

This produces a darker colour with more sheen. Available from a 3 mm plate thickness, as standard from 4 mm. Although the plate is not intended for decorative use, it is sometimes used for aesthetic purposes. If this is important, please let us know beforehand. Even though the steel sheets we receive are often slightly damaged, we can still pick out the best out of the lot and, if necessary, cover them with a protective film (subject to extra cost unless listed in quotation)
