When ordering or asking for a quotation, indicating the desired finish is important.
Does it have to be perfect? Let us know, keeping in mind that this has cost implications.
However, industrial finishes are always possible, no problem.
Should you desire a perfect finish, consider the following:
- specification of max. roughness value or Ra value
- the desired aesthetic aspect – unidirectional brushing, directionless brushing, mirror polish, pickling or glass bead blasting
- indication of surfaces to be finished – single-sided, double-sided – need to trim the cutting edges (for a 1.5 mm thick sheet, this may not be necessary, but may well be for a 10 mm thick sheet)
- possible post-treatment – electropolishing
