The typical "fe cold-rolled" steel sheet up to and incl. 3 mm is DC01, suitable for most thin plate applications (enclosures, shields, etc.). This sheet is flatter and therefore easier to paint. Since DC01 does not have the characteristics of structural steel, you need to indicate if your material is structurally important. If that is the case, hot-rolled S235JR grade is used, available from a sheet thickness of 2 mm.
