Alinco has several edge rolling mills.

There are various techniques to form edges or roll them on a workpiece. Forming of an edge using an edge rolling mill is a rather simple technique that is not too expensive.

The technique does have some limitations, however: edges can only be rolled outwards, not inwards; are sometimes slightly tapered, and, depending on the diameter, may only be formed when the sheet metal thickness does not exceed 1.5 to 2 mm. The height of the edge is also limited.
