Bending techniques for U's

In addition to various bending techniques for U profiles, it is necessary to always check the minimum internal dimensions in the ‘minimum fold spacing’ table.

A 5.5/5/5.5 U profile with a length of 2000 mm is possible according to the tables below, yet is not possible because the minimum internal dimension for sheet thickness of 2 mm is 7 mm for a length of 2000 mm.

If it is not possible to bend according to the table below, this may be possible with the help of an intermediate fold.
